spring expectations

Oh spring. Every year I put such high expectations on you to be summer and then feel like you let me down when the weather switches from warm and sunny back to cold and grey. This week has brought rain, wind, even hail, and I have reverted to wearing extra layers and living under my blanket. But spring is always unpredictable, and changeable weather is part of the season. Let's just focus on the fact that these spring showers will hopefully give the leaves the boost they need to cover the bare trees in green again.
