taking a trip

In just a few days I will be reunited with my love in Las Vegas. Two and a half years ago I planned a trip to see him as friends. By the time it came around, we were dating. Now I am going to visit him as his wife. I absolutely cannot wait to be together again!

wildlife photographer of the year

Whilst in London recently, I was able to visit the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition at the Natural History Museum. It was amazing to see what people have managed to capture around the world, particularly the younger photographers with a category for those under 10! I found it interesting to look at the different styles and perspectives of each photographer but was most drawn to the simple but slightly comedic shots. All the winning photos are featured on their website, but here are a few of my favourites.

Travelling companions - Douglas Seifert

Freeze frame - Etienne Francey

Sharing a shower - Michael "Nick" Nichols

My sister made a cute video of our short trip..you can find it here.

This month I would like to share a series of photos with you from my trip to Berlin earlier this year. I hope you enjoy looking at them!
